Palereach is Project Ascension’s new leveling zone, intended for levels 18-30 (or 60 with scaling enabled). It is primarily Alliance-controlled, so the Horde cannot access this area, especially since the main entrance is in Stormwind.

Located above Elywnn Forest, it’s not too obvious how to get to Pale Reach – Go to Stormwind first

Firstly, you’ll need to reach level 18 to use the area, though you can access it as low as level 1 if you really want to. This is the first of many to come in Project Ascension’s Timeline, to add new flavors to World of Warcraft as we know it.

Once you reach near level 18, you’ll get a Quest to venture to Pale Reach, accessed by going through SW’s Entrance, with a Quest giver on the left of the entrance – you don’t need this quest to enter Pale Reach

The Entrance is in Stormwind, north of the Dwarven District. Near the entrance, you should get a Quest from this person: Hilma Golar. They will direct you to the first set of Quests at a nearby Camp as an introductory questline.

If you are in a different area than Stormwind, It is relatively easy to get there, as Ascension isn’t true to Classic World of Warcraft in terms of how difficult it is to travel from one area to another.

Pale Reach is connected to Stormwind and accessible to any Alliance member via an entrance.

Dun Morogh as a Gnome/Dwarf), you can take the train from Ironforge to Stormwind.

If you are a Night Elf, you can take a portal to Stormwind. Located West of Darnassus.

From there, simply run towards the Dwarven District and through the entrance!

Thomas has been writing game guides for over a year, covering whatever he's currently sunk into. He doesn't write about anything he hasn't actually played, which usually isn't a problem since he plays too much of everything anyway. Rocket League ate enough of his life to get him to Grand Champion, and he's got several max-level, fully geared characters sitting in World of Warcraft from various binges over the years. Recent obsessions include ARC Raiders, Battlefield, For Honor, and Rainbow Six Siege, with plenty of others in rotation. He's also worked behind the scenes for a well-known gaming creator on video production and editorial pieces, so the guides here are shaped as much by that side of the industry as by the hours logged in-game. Every tip, build, and location in his guides comes from his own playthroughs. If he hasn't tested it, it doesn't get published.
