Each heirloom piece grants a 10% experience bonus that stacks with other pieces, potentially doubling your leveling speed with a complete set, as well as any other bonuses you may get, like aura of experience, prestige buffs, etc.

Access the Vanity Menu by pressing N, then select the filter for ‘Heirloom’. After that, press ‘Deliver Item’ for it to appear in your inventory.
Benefits of Heirlooms in Ascension Area 52
Heirlooms transform the leveling experience on the Area 52 server by providing consistent power progression without constant gear upgrades. The experience bonuses become especially valuable when combined with Ascension’s prestige system, where players repeatedly level characters for permanent account-wide benefits, making these items essential for experiencing Ascension’s diverse class combinations and custom builds.
Where to Buy Heirlooms: Nozdormu and Chromie Locations

Both heirloom vendors in WoW Ascension Area 52 are located next to the Call Board in every major city. You’ll find Nozdormu and Chromie in Stormwind’s Trade District for Alliance players and Orgrimmar’s Valley of Strength for Horde players. Additional vendor locations include Ironforge’s Commons, Thunder Bluff’s central rise, Darnassus’s Warrior’s Terrace, and Undercity’s Trade Quarter. The Call Board placement ensures easy access while collecting daily quests.
How to Farm Runes of Ascension for Heirlooms
Runes of Ascension are required for heirlooms, so what are all the methods to obtain them?
Nozdormu’s Heirloom Prices and Currency
Nozdormu sells heirlooms exclusively for Runes of Ascension, with prices ranging from 60,000 to 200,000 per piece.

Weapon heirlooms cost 100,000 to 200,000 Runes of Ascension, chest pieces require 150,000, while smaller slots like trinkets cost 60,000 to 90,000. Here’s how to efficiently farm Runes of Ascension on Area 52:
Daily Call Board Quests for Runes of Ascension

Call Board daily quests reward 5,000 to 20,000 Runes of Ascension per completion. Common dailies include a specific number of dungeon runs, battleground victories, gathering profession tasks, and world event participation, as well as reaching level 70. Complete multiple dailies across different characters to maximize Runes of Ascension income. The quest selection refreshes daily at server reset time, allowing consistent farming opportunities.
PVE Quests

Quite often, you can press ‘Accept All’ and it will give you a large bundle of quests that are relatively close to each other, in a region of Outlands that can be completed in short amounts of time, awarding roughly 3,000 Runes of Ascension each.
PvP Quests
This is one of my main sources of Runes of Ascension, as each PvP Battleground win awards 12,500 Honor Points, and 2,500 RoA – meaning players could get 33250 Runes of Ascension in a single day, per character, for playing a few PvP Games.
Note that PvP Quests do vary, allowing players to play other modes such as 3v3, 2v2, Rated, and such, but personally, I’ve never gotten any pops for those queues. Battlegrounds Quest has to be handed in after every win, and can be done up to 7 times per day, stacking up to around 15 if you’ve missed any days since creating the character.
Professions
Personally, this is my favourite method, as I tend to end up with more gold than I started with, and also with 10,000-40,000 Runes of Ascension. This is very luck-based, but the cheaper the quest items, the more likely you’ll turn a profit.
What I do is go to the Call Board, get all the profession quests, go to the Auction House, and buy out the materials if they total up to less than 15 gold – this way the Chests opened will give gear and Gold back that is either roughly the same, or exceeds it.

One day, I managed to earn an additional 200 Gold, 35,000 Runes of Ascension, and improved gear for my character in under half an hour. The item I focused on was Jaggal Clams, which were available in the Auction House for less than 6 gold each. I was making a profit of 10 to 20 gold on each redemption.
Do note that this is only profitable if the Chests contain level 70 gear, and so the Character has to be at least level 60 (but try to do this on a level 70 to guarantee level 70 Gear.)
Weekly Call Board Quests
Weekly Call Board quests provide the largest Runes of Ascension rewards, often exceeding 300,000 per completion. These challenging objectives require clearing raid bosses, achieving PvP ratings, or completing extensive quest chains. While time-intensive, weekly quests offer the fastest path to expensive heirlooms when completed consistently.
Those also require much more skillful time investment.
PvP Honor to Runes of Ascension Conversion

Players can exchange 5,000 Honor Points for 1,000 Runes of Ascension at any PvP vendor. This conversion rate makes battlegrounds and arena participation viable for heirloom farming, especially during bonus honor events. Dedicated PvP players accumulate substantial Runes of Ascension through regular play.
The Item is called ‘Bloody Mark of War’, and costs 5,000 PvP Honor Points, which is roughly 2 games while leveling, though at level 70 players frequently get far more than 5,000 Honor per Battleground. You’ve got a cap of 75,000 Honor points. If you’re nearing the max, you may as well avoid capping by buying Runes of Ascension, which have no maximum cap.
How to Get Prestige Tokens from Chromie
Heirlooms can cost Prestige Tokens, not the same ones, but similarly powerful. So we’ve got to farm those too:
Understanding WoW Ascension’s Prestige System
The prestige system allows players to reset their level to 60 in exchange for permanent benefits, including increased base leveling speed and daily experience bonuses.

Each prestige rank accelerates subsequent leveling, synergizing perfectly with heirloom bonuses. The daily experience buff appears as an icon next to your minimap, highlighting specific content like dungeons, PvP, or questing with bonus experience rewards.
First Prestige – 100 Prestige Tokens
Reach level 60 and speak with Chromie to complete your first prestige, instantly receiving 100 Prestige Tokens.

This initial prestige unlocks the prestige daily quest system and permanent account benefits.
Prestige Daily Quests for Tokens and Runes
After prestiging, Chromie offers daily quests rewarding roughly 100 Prestige Tokens plus 25,000 Runes of Ascension.

Common objectives include completing five dungeons, reaching level 70, or achieving battleground victories. These quests become available at specific level milestones during each prestige cycle, providing consistent token income for dedicated players.
Best Heirlooms to Buy First – Priority Guide
Prioritize weapons first for maximum impact on leveling speed and combat effectiveness. Chest pieces provide the second-highest stats and should be purchased after weapons. Shoulders, heads, and legs offer solid mid-tier value, while trinkets and rings can be saved for later. This purchase order maximizes your power gains per Runes of Ascension spent.
Another tip is that you can buy a ring, then equip it twice, giving you twice as many stats – be sure to check what stats it provides, and that amount will scale with you as you level, often better than most gear at the level.
