How to breed Nox in Palworld

32 parent pairs · verified from the 1.0 game files

There are 32 parent pairs that hatch Nox in Palworld 1.0, all of them ordinary maths, no special recipe: Nox sits at breeding power 2,920, so any two parents whose powers average out to that number hatch Nox. All of them are read straight from the 1.0 game files, not copied from an Early Access spreadsheet, and the table below sorts them by how easy the parents are to get. The most reachable is Daedream + Nox; the calculator above already has Nox selected if you want to filter by a parent you own.

How the maths gets to Nox

Every Pal has a hidden breeding power; Nox sits at 2,920. When two parents breed, the game adds their two numbers, halves the total rounding up, and hatches whichever Pal is nearest that result. So any pair whose numbers average out to 2,920 (or nearer to 2,920 than to any other Pal) gives Nox: that is why so many different pairs land on the same egg, and why the pairs above cluster around parents whose powers straddle 2,920.

Worked examples from the table: Daedream (2,910) + Nox (2,920) → 2,915; Daedream (2,910) + Pupperai (2,930) → 2,920. When two Pals sit at exactly the same distance from the average, a fixed priority order decides, which is why a few pairs that look like they should tie do not.

Nox + Nox always hatches Nox: breeding two of the same species is how you farm passives once you have a pair.
