How to breed Moldron in Palworld

117 parent pairs · verified from the 1.0 game files

There are 117 parent pairs that hatch Moldron in Palworld 1.0, all of them ordinary maths, no special recipe: Moldron sits at breeding power 750, so any two parents whose powers average out to that number hatch Moldron. All of them are read straight from the 1.0 game files, not copied from an Early Access spreadsheet, and the table below sorts them by how easy the parents are to get. The most reachable is Suzaku Aqua + Moldron; the calculator above already has Moldron selected if you want to filter by a parent you own.

How the maths gets to Moldron

Every Pal has a hidden breeding power; Moldron sits at 750. When two parents breed, the game adds their two numbers, halves the total rounding up, and hatches whichever Pal is nearest that result. So any pair whose numbers average out to 750 (or nearer to 750 than to any other Pal) gives Moldron: that is why so many different pairs land on the same egg, and why the pairs above cluster around parents whose powers straddle 750.

Worked examples from the table: Suzaku Aqua (740) + Moldron (750) → 745; Suzaku Aqua (740) + Mycora (760) → 750. When two Pals sit at exactly the same distance from the average, a fixed priority order decides, which is why a few pairs that look like they should tie do not.

Moldron + Moldron always hatches Moldron: breeding two of the same species is how you farm passives once you have a pair.
