How to breed Ghangler in Palworld

145 parent pairs · verified from the 1.0 game files

There are 145 parent pairs that hatch Ghangler in Palworld 1.0, all of them ordinary maths, no special recipe: Ghangler sits at breeding power 880, so any two parents whose powers average out to that number hatch Ghangler. All of them are read straight from the 1.0 game files, not copied from an Early Access spreadsheet, and the table below sorts them by how easy the parents are to get. The most reachable is Sekhmet + Ghangler; the calculator above already has Ghangler selected if you want to filter by a parent you own.

How the maths gets to Ghangler

Every Pal has a hidden breeding power; Ghangler sits at 880. When two parents breed, the game adds their two numbers, halves the total rounding up, and hatches whichever Pal is nearest that result. So any pair whose numbers average out to 880 (or nearer to 880 than to any other Pal) gives Ghangler: that is why so many different pairs land on the same egg, and why the pairs above cluster around parents whose powers straddle 880.

Worked examples from the table: Sekhmet (870) + Ghangler (880) → 875; Sekhmet (870) + Loomen (890) → 880. When two Pals sit at exactly the same distance from the average, a fixed priority order decides, which is why a few pairs that look like they should tie do not.

Ghangler + Ghangler always hatches Ghangler: breeding two of the same species is how you farm passives once you have a pair.

What Ghangler breeds into
