S Tier Warframes

S Tier Warframes represent the absolute best options in Warframe. These frames excel in virtually every game mode, offer exceptional versatility, and require minimal investment to perform at the highest level.

#1 — Gauss

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 555 | Armor 185 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Damage / Survival | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Mach Rush — Burst into a hyper-sprint, bowling over enemies and charging the battery
• Kinetic Plating — Converts absorbed kinetic damage into energy while protecting against staggers
• Thermal Sunder — Siphons kinetic energy to inflict Cold or Heat Status effects
• Redline — Supercharges all abilities with accelerated fire rate, attack speed, reload speed, and casting speed

Gauss stands as one of the most versatile Warframes in the game. His kit offers nuking potential, incredible tankiness, blazing speed, and amazing weapon utility. He is the only frame that buffs his own casting speed, making him the epitome of high-performance gameplay. Content creators unanimously place Gauss in S Tier because if you stand still with this frame, you are playing him wrong. His synergistic abilities all feed into each other, creating a perfect gameplay loop where movement equals power.

⚔

#2 — Saryn

Stats: Health 465 | Shield 370 | Armor 240 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Spores — Inflict a target with Corrosive spores that spread to nearby enemies
• Molt — Shed skin like a snake, leaving a decoy behind to draw fire
• Toxic Lash — Attacks deal additional Toxin Damage, doubled for melee strikes
• Miasma — Release a poisonous miasma dealing Viral Damage to enemies in range

Saryn is widely considered the best weapon platform in the game. Toxic Lash synergizes with literally every weapon in the game, making even mediocre weapons perform exceptionally well. Her Spores provide partial armor strip, crowd control, and aggro manipulation. The combination of her second ability as a speed multiplier and her damage-spreading capabilities makes her excel in all mission types. She follows the kill or be killed philosophy, but her raw damage output more than compensates for any survivability concerns.

⚔

#3 — Khora

Stats: Health 465 | Shield 370 | Armor 290 | Energy 190

Playstyle: Damage / Crowd Control | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Whipclaw — Send enemies reeling with a deafening whipcrack
• Ensnare — Bind a hapless target in living metal, entangling others who stray too close
• Venari — Command Venari to focus on a target with Attack, Protect, or Heal postures
• Strangledome — Weave a dome of living chain that ensnares and strangles any enemy within

Khora delivers millions of damage with AOE nuking capabilities while being the best and most consistent loot frame in the game. With access to two companions, she benefits from dual companion synergies that no other frame can match. Despite recent changes to pseudo-exalted interactions, her Whipclaw with melee influence now deals even more damage with increased range. Mass crowd control through Strangledome combined with her looting capabilities makes her irreplaceable for farming content.

⚔

#4 — Mag

Stats: Health 280 | Shield 555 | Armor 105 | Energy 190

Playstyle: Crowd Control / Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Pull — Creates a magnetic vortex that stuns enemies and pulls in targets
• Magnetize — Ensnare enemies in a magnetic field dealing damage over time
• Polarize — Emits an energy pulse draining enemy shields and armor
• Crush — Magnetizes enemy bones, causing them to collapse inward

Mag is an amazing weapon platform with debuffing, armor strip, crazy damage, damage concentration, and crowd control. Her Magnetize ability creates a meat grinder that shreds any enemy pulled inside, and she pairs exceptionally well with projectile-based weapons. Crush with her augment provides one of the most satisfying ability combos in the game. For a starter frame, she offers an incredible power ceiling and remains relevant at all stages of gameplay.

⚔

#5 — Nova

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 280 | Armor 105 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Crowd Control / Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Null Star — Creates antimatter particles that attack nearby targets and reduce damage taken
• Antimatter Drop — Launches charged antimatter that detonates on contact
• Wormhole — Creates instantaneous travel portals
• Molecular Prime — Primes all enemies with volatile antimatter, slowing or speeding them

Nova received an amazing rework that made her even better than before. Molecular Prime now offers easier toggling between slowing and speeding enemies, and the damage vulnerability it applies benefits your entire team. Antimatter Drop completely nukes everything with a click of a button. She fits perfectly in farming teams, survival missions, and virtually any content where you want to control the pace of combat. Her passive gives her one of the best energy economies in the game.

⚔

#6 — Volt

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 555 | Armor 105 | Energy 150

Playstyle: Damage / Support | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Shock — Launch a voltaic projectile that stuns and chains to nearby enemies
• Speed — Grants movement speed boost and reload speed buff to allies
• Electric Shield — Deploys an electric shield that blocks projectiles
• Discharge — Discharges electricity to paralyze and damage nearby enemies

Volt is an easy S Tier that continues to be extremely useful for literally anything in the game. Shock Trooper gives weapons a ton of electric damage, making him an excellent weapon platform. His Electric Shield provides critical damage bonuses when shooting through it, and he has novel summoner nuke builds with Desiccation subsumed. Speed running, nuking, Eidolon hunts, and general Steel Path content all benefit from Volt’s versatile kit.

⚔

#7 — Dante

Stats: Health 390 | Shield 240 | Armor 145 | Energy 270

Playstyle: Support / Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Noctua — Open Dante’s Exalted Tome and unleash a tale of woe upon enemies
• Light Verse — Grants Overguard and increases Health for Dante and allies
• Dark Verse — Draws blood from nearby enemies, inflicting Slash Damage
• Final Verse — Combines previous verses for various powerful effects

Dante has everything you want in a Warframe kit. He technically has seven abilities through his combo casting system, offering infinite Overguard generation, fantastic Slash damage nuking, and incredible team support. Dark Verse combined with Tragedy creates some of the most satisfying nuke gameplay in Warframe. If you die with a Dante in your squad, content creators joke that it is the Dante’s fault. Despite nerfs, he remains an extremely powerful choice for all content types.

⚔

#8 — Citrine

Stats: Health 500 | Shield 370 | Armor 265 | Energy 180

Playstyle: Support | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Fractured Blast — Slash enemies with a crystal blast that increases Health and Energy Orb drops
• Preserving Shell — Guards herself and nearby allies with a crystalline shell
• Prismatic Gem — Deploy a gem that shoots prismatic beams inflicting multiple status effects
• Crystallize — Summons crystal fractals that paralyze enemies with crystalline growths

Citrine is the best support in the game according to many content creators. She provides infinite energy sustain, 90% damage reduction, red crits, crowd control, and health regeneration through her passive. Her abilities synergize so well together that subsuming something onto her feels unnecessary. New augments have turned her into one of the best companion DPS frames as well. She is often overlooked but delivers incredible value for both solo and team play.

⚔

#9 — Protea

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 555 | Armor 135 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Damage / Support | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Grenade Fan — Deploys grenades in an arc with Shrapnel Vortex or Shield Satellites configurations
• Blaze Artillery — Summons an artillery unit firing plasma charges
• Dispensary — Generates health, ammo, and energy pickups
• Temporal Anchor — Places an anchor that rewinds Protea and restores resources

Protea offers great scaling damage, infinite energy and ammo that can be shared with allies, and a 5-second shield gate duration increase. Her passive grants 100% more power strength on every fourth ability cast. Blaze Artillery provides one of the best damage abilities in the game, and Temporal Anchor with augments creates broken survivability loops. She is a versatile frame that fits anywhere and remains invaluable for any team composition.

⚔

A Tier Warframes

A Tier Warframes are excellent choices that excel in most content. While they may have minor limitations compared to S Tier, they remain top-tier picks that can handle any challenge in the game.

#10 — Kullervo

Stats: Health 1205 | Shield 0 | Armor 650 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Wrathful Advance — Charges heavy attacks and teleports to strike targets
• Recompense — Surrounds self with daggers that restore health on enemy hits
• Collective Curse — Damage dealt to one cursed target transfers to others
• Storm of Ukko — Invokes void-based dagger storm raining upon enemies

Kullervo delivers melee red crits, allowing you to hit billions of damage. Collective Curse is arguably one of the best abilities in the game, enabling damage sharing across multiple targets. His Wrathful Advance is used on countless melee builds across the board. While he excels in solo scenarios, his damage potential makes him a powerhouse for any content that involves melee combat.

⚔

#11 — Voruna

Stats: Health 555 | Shield 370 | Armor 200 | Energy 150

Playstyle: Damage / Stealth | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Shroud of Dynar — Grants invisibility and speed boost with melee damage enhancements
• Fangs of Raksh — Delivers status effect-based damage that spreads to nearby enemies
• Lycath’s Hunt — Downed enemies drop health and energy orbs
• Ulfrun’s Descent — Execute five locked-on charges dealing increased damage

Voruna is the best melee Warframe in the game. With just her first ability, she gains crit chance, crit damage, status chance, guaranteed bleeds, sprint speed, and invisibility. Her unique passive provides permanent status immunity that cannot be nullified. She applies and spreads insane amounts of status effects at 10 stacks, and her energy economy remains excellent thanks to Lycath’s Hunt.

⚔

#12 — Zephyr

Stats: Health 555 | Shield 555 | Armor 105 | Energy 150

Playstyle: Crowd Control / Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Tail Wind — Hold while airborne to hover, tap to dash forward or dive bomb
• Airburst — Launch air bursts that push or pull enemies
• Turbulence — Creates a wind shield that redirects all incoming projectiles
• Tornado — Spawns deadly tornadoes that seek enemies and deal elemental damage

Zephyr is the underrated queen of nukes and buggy interactions. Turbulence makes her practically invulnerable against projectiles. Her Tornadoes create mechanically insane interactions with status-based weapons, absorbing and dealing elemental damage in devastating ways. She pairs exceptionally well with Tempest Barrage for instant viral and corrosive priming. Despite her age, she remains a top-tier choice for players who invest in learning her kit.

⚔

#13 — Cyte-09

Stats: Health 325 | Shield 235 | Armor 150 | Energy 230

Playstyle: Damage / Stealth | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Seek — Marks enemies for increased weak point damage and grants wall visibility
• Resupply — Throws elemental ammo packs with bonus elemental damage
• Evade — Performs a backwards jump with temporary invisibility
• Neutralize — Summons an exalted sniper rifle with ricocheting bullets

Cyte-09 is an amazing weapon platform with infinite ammo, access to every elemental damage buff, weak point damage scaling, insane punch through, and infinite invisibility. His Resupply functions like Saryn’s Toxic Lash but allows you to choose any element. The 300% critical chance just for playing the game makes him incredibly powerful. He struggles in team scenarios but dominates solo content.

⚔

#14 — Caliban

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 650 | Armor 290 | Energy 190

Playstyle: Damage / Crowd Control | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Razor Gyre — A spinning dash that inflicts Tau Status and recovers resources
• Sentient Wrath — Ground smash lifting survivors into amplified damage
• Lethal Progeny — Summons cycled Sentient unit types
• Fusion Strike — Converge three streams of raw energy causing massive explosion

Caliban received a massive glow up and climbed from D Tier to become one of the better summoner frames in the game. He offers great survivability, debuffs, crowd control, armor strip, and Sentient companions that synergize with his attacks. His 50% passive damage reduction allows you to free up adaptation. With Nourish subsumed, his summons become incredibly potent. He can be played as a weapons platform or a full summoner build.

⚔

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 370 | Armor 315 | Energy 240

Playstyle: Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Dread Mirror — Extracts life force to create a protective shield and explosive projectile
• Blood Altar — Impales an enemy to restore health for Garuda and allies
• Bloodletting — Sacrifices health to generate energy and remove status effects
• Seeking Talons — Releases talons that leave survivors vulnerable to Slash damage

Garuda weaponizes the blood of her foes to deal high damage. Seeking Talons causes all damage dealt to afflicted enemies to proc Slash, making her incredibly powerful with the right weapons. Her passive provides 100% more multiplicative damage to everything, abilities included. She sustains herself with healing and energy while debuffing enemies. Her high-risk high-reward playstyle rewards aggressive players who master her kit.

⚔

#16 — Gara

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 370 | Armor 160 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Damage / Survival / Crowd Control | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Shattered Lash — Strike enemies with glass projectiles
• Splinter Storm — Creates a maelstrom of shattered glass fortifying allies
• Spectrorage — Traps enemies in a mirror carousel
• Mass Vitrify — Expands a molten glass ring that crystallizes enemies

Gara excels at nuking maps with her first ability, fourth ability, or by stacking damage on Splinter Storm and walking through enemies. With melee influence changes, her Shattered Lash became a fantastic nuking tool. She provides easy damage reduction that applies to defense objectives, making her one of the better defense frames. No energy issues and great survivability round out her kit.

⚔

#17 — Frost

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 555 | Armor 315 | Energy 150

Playstyle: Crowd Control / Survival | Complexity: Easy

Abilities:

• Freeze — A frigid energy blast that freezes targets
• Ice Wave — Sends a wave of crystalized ice dealing heavy damage
• Snow Globe — Creates a protective sphere with brief invulnerability
• Avalanche — Summons a landslide of ice that freezes and shatters enemies

Frost somehow gets buffed with every update, either directly or indirectly. His Avalanche provides Overguard, armor strip, crowd control, and true damage nuking all in one ability. Recent changes to his kit and the ice element have made him a dominant force. He supports himself and teammates with defense capabilities that remain relevant at all levels of play. The Ice King has risen from the gutter to become a top-tier choice.

⚔

#18 — Hydroid

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 465 | Armor 240 | Energy 190

Playstyle: Crowd Control | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Tempest Barrage — Rain destruction upon a target area
• Tidal Surge — Move through enemies as a ferocious wall of water
• Plunder — Steal armor from nearby foes while amplifying corrosive damage
• Tentacle Swarm — Summon deep-sea creatures to devastate the battlefield

Hydroid received one of the best reworks in the game. He offers great nuking and priming with his first ability, loot frame capabilities with his fourth, status immunity, grouping, crowd control, and partial armor strip. His passive allows corrosive procs to fully strip at 10 stacks. While his third and fourth abilities can feel clunky, his overall kit makes him A Tier after climbing from being one of the worst Warframes.

⚔

#19 — Rhino

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 555 | Armor 240 | Energy 150

Playstyle: Survival / Crowd Control | Complexity: Easy

Abilities:

• Rhino Charge — Charges towards a target, clobbering any in his path
• Iron Skin — Hardens skin, gaining Overguard and insulating from damage
• Roar — Grants all nearby Warframes increased damage
• Rhino Stomp — Stomps with force to disrupt time, tumbling enemies in stasis

Rhino is one of the only Warframes that can run Roar and Nourish together, creating one of the most broken ability combos in the game. His Roar doubles the effectiveness on himself compared to the Helminth version. Iron Skin provides Overguard that makes him incredibly tanky, and Stomp remains one of the most satisfying crowd control abilities. He is the resident tank and a perfect fit for new players who can obtain him early.

⚔

#20 — Mesa

Stats: Health 465 | Shield 280 | Armor 105 | Energy 150

Playstyle: Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Ballistic Battery — Stores damage from gunfire for the next shot
• Shooting Gallery — Grants allies extra damage while jamming enemy weapons
• Shatter Shield — Creates an energy barrier that reflects incoming damage
• Peacemaker — Enters focused state to rapidly fire Regulator pistols

Mesa is the best frame for anyone who hates aiming and wants a one-button kill build. Her Peacemakers with access to arcanes deal ridiculous damage. Shatter Shield provides 95% damage reduction, which is rare to see. Shooting Gallery offers one of the best crowd control abilities with its augment. She fits well in many situations and remains a simple but effective choice for clearing content quickly.

⚔

#21 — Mirage

Stats: Health 300 | Shield 300 | Armor 105 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Hall of Mirrors — Creates decoys to confuse and distract enemies
• Sleight of Hand — Plants traps that blind or detonate
• Eclipse — Toggle that reduces damage taken or increases weapon damage
• Prism — Launches an energy projectile that fires lasers in all directions

Mirage is one of the top weapon platformers in the game. Hall of Mirrors triples gun DPS and multiplies melee damage by five. Eclipse provides multiplicative damage that is incredibly strong. Her raw damage output can ignore the status meta and simply one-tap enemies. Recent quality of life changes made her abilities synergize better with each other. She can also nuke with her abilities and offers Focus farming capabilities.

⚔

#22 — Nekros

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 335 | Armor 105 | Energy 150

Playstyle: Crowd Control | Complexity: Easy

Abilities:

• Soul Punch — A devastating strike that transforms enemy souls into projectiles
• Terrify — Cast fear into enemies, causing them to run away
• Desecrate — Forces fallen enemies to drop additional loot
• Shadows of the Dead — Summon shadow versions of vanquished enemies

Nekros is the easiest loot frame in the game. Desecrate works passively, so you toggle it on and forget about it. Terrify is one of the best armor strip abilities in the game with massive AOE, no line of sight requirement, and low strength requirement. Shadows of the Dead creates interesting summoner builds, and he synergizes well with Khora for loot farming parties. His consistent loot generation makes him invaluable for resource farming.

⚔

#23 — Wisp

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 280 | Armor 185 | Energy 300

Playstyle: Support | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Reservoirs — Summon containers with Haste, Vitality, or Shock Motes
• Wil-O-Wisp — Cast forward a spectral image to confuse enemies
• Breach Surge — Open dimensional rifts causing damaged enemies to release sparks
• Sol Gate — Open a portal to the sun to irradiate enemies with solar plasma

Wisp offers speed, fire rate, attack speed, healing, crowd control, invisibility, invulnerability, teleportation, and damage spread. Her Reservoirs power crept Loki with just one ability. Breach Surge can go on any other Warframe and often performs better, but on Wisp it provides team utility that is hard to beat. Her passive makes her invisible while airborne. She remains a solid support frame despite some finding her playstyle boring.

⚔

#24 — Styanax

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 925 | Armor 265 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Axios Javelin — Throw a javelin that pulls surrounding enemies
• Tharros Strike — Swing Tharros to repel enemies and reduce their defenses
• Rally Point — Draw enemy attention while regenerating squad energy
• Final Stand — Rise into the air and throw a barrage of javelins

Styanax provides grouping, health regeneration, shield and armor strip, energy regeneration, enemy aggro draw, and crazy damage with his fourth ability. His passive amplifies critical chance based on shield capacity. With the Overguard augment, he becomes extremely tanky while supporting his team. He does everything you want in a Warframe kit and fits into virtually every situation.

⚔

#25 — Xaku

Stats: Health 359 | Shield 329 | Armor 146 | Energy 230

Playstyle: Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Xata’s Whisper — Grants Void damage to all equipped weapon attacks
• Grasp of Lohk — Summons void tendrils that steal enemy weapons for auto-targeting
• The Lost — Cycles between Accuse, Gaze, and Deny powers
• The Vast Untime — Sheds outer form in a destructive explosion while freezing ability durations

Xaku’s first ability buffs weapon damage, then Grasp of Lohk scales damage with enemy level. Accuse provides massive AOE armor strip, and The Vast Untime pauses all ability durations for incredible uptime. He is an amazing frame for quick resource farming and excels as a box breaker. His kit synergizes well together, making him an A Tier choice with proper investment.

⚔

#26 — Revenant

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 735 | Armor 135 | Energy 190

Playstyle: Survival / Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Enthrall — Transform a target into a thrall that turns on its allies
• Mesmer Skin — Become enveloped in Sentient energy to redirect damage and stun attackers
• Reave — Dash through enemies as a sentient energy wall, leeching resources
• Danse Macabre — Erupt with Eidolon energy beams in a circular sweep

Revenant is the actual unkillable Warframe thanks to Mesmer Skin. His ability to not die and give immortality to teammates makes him the perfect frame for getting things done without thinking. Enthrall creates crowd control through confused enemies, and Danse Macabre adapts damage types to enemy defenses. Some find him boring, but his effectiveness is undeniable for players who want easy clears.

⚔

#27 — Temple

Stats: Health 505 | Shield 325 | Armor 325 | Energy 215

Playstyle: Damage / Support | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Pyrotechnics — Blast targeted enemies with pillars of Heat Damage
• Overdrive — Deploys damaging sound wave that increases vulnerability to Critical Chance
• Ripper’s Wail — Provides invulnerability and self-healing while granting allied weapons bonus heat damage
• Exalted Solo — Summons Lizzie aflame for elemental guitar attacks

Temple is the rockstar Warframe from the 1999 update. She combines heat-based damage with a unique guitar-themed kit. Overdrive provides critical chance vulnerability that benefits the entire team, and Ripper’s Wail offers invulnerability similar to Rhino’s Iron Skin. Her Exalted Solo turns her guitar into a devastating weapon. Note: Temple is a newer Warframe with limited community testing data. This ranking may change as more players discover optimal builds and strategies.

⚔

#28 — Oraxia

Stats: Health 675 | Shield 225 | Armor 125 | Energy 200

Playstyle: Damage / Stealth | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Mercy’s Kiss — A leaping strike that pierces enemies with spider legs dealing toxin damage
• Webbed Embrace — Deploys an expanding web that traps enemies in cocoons
• Widow’s Brood — Launches a dart barrage applying toxin effects that spawn creatures on kill
• Silken Stride — Activates spider-leg locomotion granting status immunity and toxin imbument

Oraxia is the spider-themed Warframe that combines predatory grace with lethal toxin abilities. Her Webbed Embrace provides excellent crowd control by trapping enemies in cocoons that increase their damage vulnerability. Silken Stride grants status immunity, enhanced health, and unique traversal mechanics. She excels at applying multiple toxin stacks and spawning spider creatures to overwhelm enemies. Note: Oraxia is a newer Warframe with limited community testing data. This ranking may change as more players discover optimal builds and strategies.

⚔

B Tier Warframes

B Tier Warframes are solid choices that perform well in most content. They may require more investment or have specific niches where they shine, but they remain viable options for Steel Path and endgame content.

#29 — Baruuk

Stats: Health 280 | Shield 370 | Armor 185 | Energy 300

Playstyle: Damage / Survival | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Elude — Dodge all incoming projectiles while not attacking
• Lull — A calming wave that slows enemies until they fall asleep
• Desolate Hands — Summon orbiting daggers that seek out enemy guns
• Serene Storm — Command the Desert Wind to deliver powerful radial strikes

Baruuk can get ridiculous EHP values because his passive, third, and fourth abilities all provide damage reduction. Serene Storm clears crowds faster than most Warframes. However, he only functions well in solo missions and endless survival where his restraint mechanic works best. The exalted changes helped him, but his limited applicability keeps him in B Tier.

⚔

#30 — Nezha

Stats: Health 465 | Shield 185 | Armor 200 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Damage / Crowd Control / Survival | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Fire Walker — Blaze a trail of flames that scorches enemies and cleanses allies
• Blazing Chakram — Hurl a flaming ring that sets enemies ablaze
• Warding Halo — Create a protective ring of fire that stuns and damages enemies
• Divine Spears — Impale nearby enemies on spears that erupt from below

Nezha with Divine Retribution augment becomes one of the best nuke frames in the game with an almost 40m radius instant kill. Warding Halo makes him essentially invulnerable. He offers speed, status immunity, crowd control, debuffs, and teleportation. His controversial kinetic siphon trap era has passed, but he remains a solid B Tier choice that can push into A Tier with the right augments.

⚔

#31 — Harrow

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 555 | Armor 185 | Energy 150

Playstyle: Support / Damage | Complexity: High

Abilities:

• Condemn — Launches an energy wave that immobilizes enemies
• Penance — Converts shields into reload and fire rate bonuses
• Thurible — Channeled ability that builds energy reserves
• Covenant — Creates a protective barrier converting damage to critical chance

Harrow is a support that hates being in a group. He shines in solo play with amazing survivability, decent crowd control, and infinite energy supply. His weapon damage buffs are excellent, but he needs to do all the killing himself to provide benefits to teammates. The priest of vengeance rewards skilled players who master his energy management system.

⚔

#32 — Octavia

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 280 | Armor 160 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Damage / Support | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Mallet — Rhythmically beats damage into nearby enemies
• Resonator — Launches a rollerball that charms foes to follow it
• Metronome — Grants rhythm-based buffs for speed, invisibility, multishot, and damage
• Amp — Draws power from sound to amplify damage

Octavia was once considered S Tier, but power creep has caught up to her. Her infinite damage scaling from Mallet remains strong, but the game has changed significantly. Playing her optimally requires camping and crouch-spamming to maintain buffs, which many find boring. She remains a very good Warframe but no longer the monster she used to be.

⚔

#33 — Ash

Stats: Health 555 | Shield 370 | Armor 105 | Energy 150

Playstyle: Stealth / Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Shuriken — Launches a spinning blade that impales enemies to walls
• Smoke Screen — Drops a smoke bomb rendering Ash invisible
• Teleport — Teleport to a target and perform a Finisher
• Blade Storm — Project fierce Shadow Clones upon groups of enemies

Ash is an endurance frame known as a weapon platform that shines in high-level content. His Blade Storm changes in Techrat Encore converted it to a pseudo-exalted with mod support, but it did not dramatically change his position. He remains really slow compared to other options. His passive synergizes well with Slash-based weapons, and with Roar subsumed, he becomes one of the best setups for endurance content.

⚔

#34 — Banshee

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 370 | Armor 105 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Crowd Control / Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Sonic Boom — Emits a shockwave that pushes and incapacitates targets
• Sonar — Uses acoustic tracking to expose critical weak spots
• Silence — Creates an aura that stuns enemies and nullifies their abilities
• Sound Quake — Channels ultrasonic reverberations that shake the ground

Banshee is mostly known as a solo leveling weapons bot thanks to the Silence and Gloom combo. Sonar reveals weak points for ridiculous damage multipliers, and Silence nullifies enemy abilities including Eximus units. Her only issue is survivability, which Gloom solves elegantly. Sonic Boom with its augment can armor strip in a large area, making her more versatile than many realize.

⚔

#35 — Excalibur

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 370 | Armor 240 | Energy 150

Playstyle: Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Slash Dash — Slash through enemies while dashing
• Radial Blind — Emit a bright flash that blinds nearby enemies
• Radial Javelin — Launch javelins that impale nearby enemies
• Exalted Blade — Summon a sword of pure light with immense power

The poster boy of Warframe became one of the better melee frames with exalted changes giving Exalted Blade melee influence. Radial Javelin provides multiplicative melee damage that is incredibly strong. If you like swinging swords and melee combat, Excalibur delivers. His Umbra form has bugs that DE addressed with an augment rather than fixing, but the standard version remains solid.

⚔

#36 — Ember

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 370 | Armor 135 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Fireball — Release a fiery projectile that ignites enemies
• Immolation — Protect Ember with flame armor that burns stronger over time
• Fire Blast — Create a wave of plasma that knocks back enemies and strips armor
• Inferno — Command a flaming comet to engulf enemies with spreading fire

Ember has fallen from grace and now feels mediocre in most situations. Her flame meter mechanic feels very outdated, and Inferno requires too much investment to actually nuke effectively. Her passive sounds good but requires not killing enemies to benefit from it, which contradicts good gameplay. Fireball with Frenzy augment makes her an okay weapon platform, but other frames do the job better.

⚔

#37 — Equinox

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 370 | Armor 135 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Support | Complexity: High

Abilities:

• Metamorphosis — Toggle between Day and Night forms
• Rest & Rage — Sleep enemies or increase their damage vulnerability
• Pacify & Provoke — Reduce enemy damage or boost ally ability strength
• Mend & Maim — Restore shields or inflict Slash status

Equinox has a bloated kit that feels very outdated. Her augments desperately need to be included in her base kit. She can map-wide nuke with Terrify subsumed and her fourth ability, but beyond that she lacks great scaling. Building for both forms simultaneously is difficult, and many of her abilities simply do not do anything meaningful in modern Warframe. Personal bias aside, she needs serious work.

⚔

#38 — Dagath

Stats: Health 666 | Shield 250 | Armor 125 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Wyrd Scythes — Surrounding blades seek enemies applying Viral damage
• Doom — Condemns foes to receive reflected damage from attacks
• Grave Spirit — Supercharges weapons with extra Critical Damage
• Rakhali’s Cavalry — Phantom creatures charge forward stripping defenses

Dagath is underrated and slept on by the community. She deals Viral innately, gets extra critical damage, and has an augment that makes her entirely invulnerable. Doom functions like Collective Curse except per enemy, requiring less damage to kill. Her nuke ability with Rakhali’s Cavalry strips defenses effectively. She has a unique kit that is very fun to play but does not excel at anything done better by other frames.

⚔

#39 — Jade

Stats: Health 465 | Shield 550 | Armor 135 | Energy 200

Playstyle: Support | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Light’s Judgment — Creates a radiant well that damages enemies and restores ally health
• Symphony of Mercy — Cycles between three songs for ability, weapon, or shield buffs
• Ophanim Eyes — Summons a gaze that slows opponents while stripping defenses
• Glory on High — Grants aerial mobility paired with destructive capability

Jade is one of the best support Warframes with crazy damage from Glory. She got double aura slots, which is novel and appreciated. Symphony of Mercy cycles effectively between powerful buffs, and Ophanim Eyes provides armor strip and crowd control. She has a one-dimensional gameplay style but delivers excellent results when built correctly.

⚔

#40 — Grendel

Stats: Health 1295 | Shield 95 | Armor 370 | Energy 225

Abilities:

• Feast — Swallow enemies whole and store them in Grendel’s gut
• Nourish — Regenerates health while digesting enemies
• Pulverize — Curl into a rolling ball, healing over time
• Regurgitate — Violently puke out a bile-soaked enemy as a projectile

Grendel is Gauss’s best friend but suffers from his Feast mechanic. He needs to consume enemies to use his main abilities, which feels really bad in groups and solo play. Nourish is his Helminth ability, and it is better on literally any other Warframe. He has a ridiculous nuke in Regurgitate and can armor strip, but maintaining his resource economy remains frustrating.

⚔

#41 — Sevagoth

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 335 | Armor 160 | Energy 190

Playstyle: Damage / Survival | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Reap — Summons the Shadow to ravage enemies with damage-over-time
• Sow — Plants afflictions that drain vitality and detonate for radial damage
• Gloom — Slows enemies while siphoning life force
• Exalted Shadow — Releases the Shadow form with melee-focused abilities

Sevagoth with two augments becomes one of the best nukers in the game through true damage mechanics. Spam his two and one to kill everything. Without augments, he works as a decent weapon platform. His Shadow is mostly a Gloom bot at this point, but his kit feels bare bones and leaves you confused about his intended design. He looks really cool in his prime form.

⚔

#42 — Nyx

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 370 | Armor 105 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Crowd Control | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Mind Control — Seizes an enemy’s mind, forcing them to fight alongside you
• Psychic Bolts — Unleashes a volley of psychic bolts that track enemies
• Chaos — Releases a psychic pulse causing enemies to turn on each other
• Absorb — Contains incoming damage and converts it into a radial blast

Nyx received a rework in 1999 that made her kit significantly more functional. She has insane crowd control and decent survivability. Her augments remain pretty mid, but she does what she sets out to do very well. She is one of the older Warframes, so nothing exciting happens in her kit, but she remains a solid B Tier choice.

⚔

#43 — Trinity

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 370 | Armor 105 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Support | Complexity: Easy

Abilities:

• Well of Life — Places a healing zone that absorbs status effects
• Energy Vampire — Allies gain energy over time from marked enemies
• Link — Channels incoming damage to a nearby enemy
• Blessing — Restores health and shields while reducing incoming damage

Trinity got quality of life upgrades that make her feel better to play, but nobody builds their Warframe to need a Trinity anymore. Modern players build for independence, so her support benefits go unnoticed. She provides infinite energy, full healing, and damage reduction, but these effects are not necessary when your build already works without her. She fits any situation but does not stand out.

⚔

#44 — Gyre

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 650 | Armor 105 | Energy 240

Playstyle: Crowd Control / Damage | Complexity: High

Abilities:

• Arcsphere — Launch a spinning sphere dealing impact damage with electrical shocks
• Coil Horizon — Deploy a rotating sphere that implodes
• Cathode Grace — Gain increased critical chance and energy regeneration
• Rotorswell — Generate an electric field that shocks nearby foes

Gyre is nothing without her augments and Helminth. She has amazing design and electric powers, but her base kit is lackluster. Her energy regeneration is mediocre, her grouping ability has bad physics and line of sight issues, and she has very long animations. She requires massive investment to work, but with everything maxed out, she becomes a solid weapon platform or ability nuke.

⚔

#45 — Hildryn

Stats: Health 280 | Shield 1780 | Armor 315 | Energy 0

Playstyle: Survival / Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Balefire — Charge and launch devastating bolts of electricity
• Pillage — Pillage shields and armor from enemies to replenish Hildryn
• Haven — Create a shield aura that damages approaching enemies
• Aegis Storm — Take flight and rain Balefire rockets on enemies

Hildryn’s entire kit revolves around shields, and her best ability is Pillage, which is also a Helminth option anyone can use. The exalted changes made Balefire actually good now with its nuking augment. Her kit remains clunky, and she does not use energy, which can feel terrifying when shields disappear. She is mediocre in versatility because whatever she can do, others do better.

⚔

#46 — Inaros

Stats: Health 2310 | Shield 0 | Armor 240 | Energy 150

Playstyle: Survival / Crowd Control | Complexity: Easy

Abilities:

• Desiccation — Blast enemies with cursed sand that blinds and steals health
• Sandstorm — Become a sandstorm that devours enemies
• Scarab Shell — Form armor by draining health
• Scarab Swarm — Summons scarabs dealing Corrosive damage

Inaros received a rework that made him actually have abilities worth casting. He went from one of the most useless frames to a somewhat decent one with okay survivability, status immunity, decent crowd control, and interesting summoner capabilities with his augment. He is a solid choice for new players but falls off at higher levels where shield gating becomes necessary.

⚔

#47 — Lavos

Stats: Health 740 | Shield 370 | Armor 675 | Energy 0

Playstyle: Damage | Complexity: High

Abilities:

• Ophidian Bite — Lash out with a toxic strike, consuming targets to heal
• Vial Rush — Dash forward leaving a trail of broken vials
• Transmutation Probe — Converts orbs into Universal Orbs
• Catalyze — Catalyst Probes douse combatants in fiery gel

Lavos became a good weapon platform thanks to his augment Veilance Formation. Outside of that, he is clunky, slow, and requires rotation management to use abilities off cooldown. His prime did not do enough to address his fundamental issues. The way you need to navigate his kit makes him feel frustrating despite being effective when played correctly.

⚔

#48 — Titania

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 370 | Armor 105 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Damage / Crowd Control | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Spellbind — Enemies fumble weapons as they are whisked into the air
• Tribute — Cycles through four buffs when cast on enemies
• Lantern — Transform an enemy into a beacon attracting others before exploding
• Razorwing — Shrink down and take flight while razorflies attack enemies

Titania has an outdated kit with only one real use: being the meta frame for quick exterminate, capture, rescue, and relic running. Razorwing Blitz augment lets you zoom across maps with Thermal Sunder to nuke. Her first, second, and third abilities are pretty bad, and her passive is useless. Razorwing alone keeps her relevant for speed running content.

⚔

#49 — Wukong

Stats: Health 555 | Shield 370 | Armor 265 | Energy 180

Playstyle: Damage / Survival | Complexity: Easy

Abilities:

• Celestial Twin — Creates a duplicate that mirrors combat style
• Cloud Walker — Evaporate into mist while healing
• Defy — Become invulnerable and deal captured damage back
• Primal Fury — Summon the iron staff and unleash fury

Wukong has seen significant nerfs over the years, and many feel sorry for Wukong players at this point. His best use now is spy missions thanks to Cloud Walker. Celestial Twin is terrible after nerfs, and his overall kit feels like a shadow of its former self. The exalted changes made Primal Fury better with melee influence, but he remains a decent frame for new players rather than a meta pick.

⚔

#50 — Nokko

Stats: Health 250 | Shield 400 | Armor 135 | Energy 180

Playstyle: Damage / Crowd Control | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Stinkbrain — Throw a mushroom that sheds poisonous spores inflicting Viral Damage and lulling enemies to sleep
• Brightbonnet — Release a rejuvenating mushroom that gives Energy and buffs Ability Strength
• Reroot — Transforms into Sprodling form, spawning healing orbs and granting speed boosts
• Sporespring — Unleash a chaotic ballistic mushroom that seeks enemies and bounces explosively

Nokko is a mushroom-themed Warframe that combines crowd control with team support. Stinkbrain provides excellent AOE sleep and Viral damage, while Brightbonnet offers energy regeneration and Ability Strength buffs for the team. Reroot gives him unique survivability through invulnerability frames. Note: Nokko is a newer Warframe with limited community testing data. This ranking may change as more players discover optimal builds and strategies.

⚔

C Tier Warframes

C Tier Warframes have significant limitations or feel outdated compared to modern options. They can still clear content but require more effort or specific circumstances to perform well.

#51 — Atlas

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 370 | Armor 475 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Landslide — Bash enemies with an explosive sliding punch combo
• Tectonics — Summons a protective stone wall
• Petrify — Fossilize foes, amplifying damage taken
• Rumblers — Conjures two elemental stone brawlers

Atlas is the one punch man Warframe, and that is all he does. Landslide with melee influence deals insane damage, but his other three abilities are some of the worst in the game. Tectonics is a joke, Petrify is a joke, and Rumblers do nothing useful. He is a tanky boy who punches things really hard, but he cannot do anything else and remains very one-dimensional.

⚔

#52 — Nidus

Stats: Health 555 | Shield 0 | Armor 450 | Energy 150

Playstyle: Damage / Survival | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Virulence — Rupture the ground with damaging fungal growth
• Larva — Spawn a pod that erupts with tendrils pulling enemies in
• Parasitic Link — Bind to targets to boost ability strength
• Ravenous — Gluttonous maggots swarm nearby enemies

Nidus has a synergistic kit that feels very outdated. He is too stationary if you want to play optimally, and his survivability mechanics are outdated in a game where shield gating dominates. He has niche team synergies with his link ability, but a secondary weapon literally does what Larva does but better. He needs a rework to compete with modern Warframes.

⚔

#53 — Valkyr

Stats: Health 750 | Shield 185 | Armor 855 | Energy 150

Playstyle: Damage / Survival | Complexity: Low

Abilities:

• Rip Line — Launches a grappling hook to pull toward targets
• Warcry — Enhances allies armor and attack speed
• Paralysis — Unleashes a damaging blast that slows enemies
• Hysteria — Deploys deadly claws for devastating attacks with immunity

Valkyr’s recent rework made Ripline actually fun for grouping, and Warcry remains useful. However, she has only one way to play: press four and spin to win. She needs Nourish to keep Hysteria active and shines in solo scenarios. She is outperformed by melee influence builds on other frames and does nothing else besides dealing damage with her exalted claws.

⚔

#54 — Vauban

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 280 | Armor 160 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Crowd Control | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Tesla Nervos — Launches a roller drone that delivers arcing electricity
• Minelayer — Cycles through four distinct deployable mines
• Photon Strike — Deploys a targeting beacon for laser artillery
• Bastille — Creates a containment field suspending enemies

Vauban is a forgotten frame with a clunky kit that has been power crept hard by Caliban. His Flechette Orbs still do good damage and scale well, but everything is too stationary. His passive does not even fit his design, and he needs a rework to compete. Bastille armor strips in a weird way, and Vortex is the only ability that sees regular use.

⚔

#55 — Ivara

Stats: Health 280 | Shield 370 | Armor 105 | Energy 265

Playstyle: Stealth | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Quiver — Cycles through tactical arrows for Cloak, Dashwire, Noise, and Sleep
• Navigator — Assumes direct control of any projectile
• Prowl — Grants invisibility with enemy loot theft
• Artemis Bow — Summons a powerful bow that unleashes arrow volleys

Ivara is clunky and outdated. Prowl has been power crept insanely hard by Evade on Cyte-09, making her a worse version of the newer frame. Artemis Bow only functions with the augment and is still not great. Navigator has some meme applications, and Quiver just sucks. She feels better solo and in endurance settings but has no place in modern Warframe meta.

⚔

#56 — Loki

Stats: Health 280 | Shield 280 | Armor 105 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Stealth | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Decoy — Creates a holographic duplicate that attracts enemy fire
• Invisibility — Loki camouflages himself, becoming invisible
• Switch Teleport — Enables instantaneous position swaps
• Radial Disarm — Disrupts enemy weapons, forcing melee combat

Loki is an outdated frame with nothing interesting in his kit. His whole identity is carried by arcanes, Helminth, and bugs. Decoy does nothing, Switch Teleport does nothing useful, and Radial Disarm makes enemies not shoot you when you are already invisible anyway. Surviving is not hard in Warframe, and Invisibility being his only good ability is not enough. Wisp power crept his first three abilities with just one of hers.

⚔

#57 — Limbo

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 280 | Armor 105 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Crowd Control | Complexity: High

Abilities:

• Banish — Projects a rift wave displacing enemies between planes
• Stasis — Freezes rift-bound adversaries and suspends projectiles
• Rift Surge — Energizes rift-bound foes with radial banish effects
• Cataclysm — Unleashes void energy creating a temporary rift pocket

Limbo is outdated and clunky with a cool idea that was poorly executed. His main uses are now Riven challenges, spy missions, and quick resource farms, but Xaku has taken over that job. His Rift mechanic can annoy teammates who do not understand how to work around it. If Limbo was designed today, he would be incredible, but the current version shows how badly he has aged.

⚔

#58 — Koumei

Stats: Health 444 | Shield 222 | Armor 444 | Energy 222

Playstyle: Damage / Survival | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Kumihimo — Creates threads inflicting random elemental status effects
• Omikuji — Grants favorable outcomes through challenges to earn Decrees
• Omamori — Surrounds herself with protective charms
• Bunraku — Controls enemies like marionettes applying status effects

Koumei’s entire kit promotes gambling, and everything she can do is easily done by an arcane on other Warframes. Her best ability is also her worst ability due to the horrible gambling mechanic. Rolling triple sixes for maximum effectiveness is too rare to make her feel consistent. She has one of the best passives in the game but needs to be a completely different frame to deserve a higher ranking.

⚔

#59 — Yareli

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 555 | Armor 105 | Energy 300

Playstyle: Damage / Crowd Control | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Sea Snares — Launches water globules that immobilize and damage targets
• Merulina — Summons a rideable wave creature that absorbs damage
• Aquablades — Deploys three orbiting aquatic blades
• Riptide — Traps enemies in a crushing maelstrom

Yareli used to be the worst Warframe in the game before Koumei released. Her entire kit is a contradiction. She cannot use Helminth abilities while on her board, is limited to secondary weapons, and has clunky movement. DE released an augment so you do not have to use the board instead of reworking the K-Drive gimmick. Sea Snares provides decent damage vulnerability, but her third ability exists for no clear reason.

⚔

#60 — Qorvex

Stats: Health 700 | Shield 300 | Armor 875 | Energy 200

Playstyle: Crowd Control / Survival | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Chyrinka Pillar — Deploys a structure that slows enemies and pulses Radiation
• Containment Wall — Summons barriers that slam together damaging enemies
• Disometric Guard — Creates protective barriers against status effects
• Crucible Blast — Emits an energy beam dealing Radiation damage

Qorvex is a prime example of clunk. He has high armor and focuses on Radiation damage, but his kit lacks depth. He sucks to play in the majority of game content, and his passive does not even fit his design. He provides crowd control for teammates but falls short compared to other options that do everything he does better.

⚔

#61 — Chroma

Stats: Health 370 | Shield 370 | Armor 370 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Survival / Damage | Complexity: Moderate

Abilities:

• Spectral Scream — Exhales elemental breath with cycling element selection
• Elemental Ward — Creates an area-of-effect based on elemental alignment
• Vex Armor — Fortifies squad armor when shields or health take damage
• Effigy — Transforms pelt into a sentry that attacks enemies

How the mighty have fallen. Chroma was once the best weapon platform in the game, dealing millions of damage and dominating Eidolon hunts. Now his kit is so outdated that you only use two abilities, and even those are clunky. His identity as a dragon frame does not exist. Effigy is useless except for the credit multiplier on Profit Taker. Elemental Ward should be a cycle ability rather than requiring emissive color changes.

⚔

D Tier Warframes

D Tier Warframes desperately need reworks. They struggle to compete with modern Warframes and often find it frustrating to play effectively.

#62 — Oberon

Stats: Health 465 | Shield 370 | Armor 385 | Energy 225

Playstyle: Support | Complexity: Easy

Abilities:

• Smite — Focuses deadly energy dealing massive damage and removing defenses
• Hallowed Ground — Sanctifies the ground inflicting Radiation Damage
• Renewal — Generates a protective aura granting armor and restoring health
• Reckoning — Lifts enemies into the air and hurls them down, removing armor

Oberon needs to be reworked. He is forgotten by DE, outdated, clunky, and requires extra steps just to armor strip. When was the last time you saw an Oberon in a public mission? He has some crowd control and is not a bad support frame, but he simply does not fit or stand out in a team. Hallowed Ground and Reckoning are the only interesting parts of his kit, and even those feel dated.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Warframe is the best for beginners?

Rhino is the best Warframe for beginners because you can obtain him early and his Iron Skin makes you practically unkillable while learning the game. Volt and Excalibur are also excellent starter choices with straightforward kits that remain useful into endgame content.

What is the best Warframe for Steel Path?

Gauss, Saryn, and Khora are among the best Warframes for Steel Path content. Gauss offers incredible survivability and damage, Saryn spreads damage across entire maps, and Khora provides both crowd control and looting capabilities. Mesa and Revenant are also excellent choices for players who prefer simpler gameplay.

Which Warframe is best for farming resources?

Khora is the best loot frame in the game with her Pilfering Strangledome augment providing consistent extra drops. Nekros with Desecrate is the easiest to use since it works passively. Running both together maximizes loot drops for resource farming missions.

Are tier lists accurate for Warframe?

Tier lists are subjective and depend on playstyle preferences. Every Warframe can complete all content in the game with proper investment. This tier list averages opinions from multiple content creators to provide a balanced perspective, but players should ultimately choose frames they enjoy playing.

Which Warframes need reworks?

Oberon is the most commonly cited Warframe needing a full rework. Vauban, Limbo, Yareli, and Koumei also receive frequent requests for changes. Chroma’s kit feels outdated despite being powerful for specific content like Profit Taker.

What is the Helminth system?

The Helminth system allows players to subsume Warframes to extract one ability, then inject that ability onto other Warframes. This creates powerful synergies and allows players to customize their builds. Some abilities like Roar, Nourish, and Gloom are popular choices across many frames.

Which Warframe deals the most damage?

Saryn, Khora, and Gauss are among the highest damage dealers in the game. Kullervo can hit billions of damage with melee critical builds. Mirage with Eclipse and Hall of Mirrors provides massive weapon damage multiplication. The “best” damage dealer depends on the situation and build.

Is this tier list updated for 2025?

Yes, this tier list reflects the current Warframe meta as of 2025, including recent reworks to Caliban, Hydroid, Inaros, Nyx, Trinity, Valkyr, and the addition of newer frames like Cyte-09, Dante, and Jade. Rankings are averaged from multiple content creator opinions.

Thomas has been writing game guides for over a year, covering whatever he's currently sunk into. He doesn't write about anything he hasn't actually played, which usually isn't a problem since he plays too much of everything anyway. Rocket League ate enough of his life to get him to Grand Champion, and he's got several max-level, fully geared characters sitting in World of Warcraft from various binges over the years. Recent obsessions include ARC Raiders, Battlefield, For Honor, and Rainbow Six Siege, with plenty of others in rotation. He's also worked behind the scenes for a well-known gaming creator on video production and editorial pieces, so the guides here are shaped as much by that side of the industry as by the hours logged in-game. Every tip, build, and location in his guides comes from his own playthroughs. If he hasn't tested it, it doesn't get published.
