About This Mod
Barrel of Cheats is a simple cheat mod created by Gamer-Guides as a learning project while exploring the Creation Kit. It adds a single barrel containing high-tier equipment and resources for players who want to bypass normal game progression.

The barrel contains:
- 999,999 Gold – Never worry about money again
- Overpowered Daedric Armor Set – Each piece enhanced with massive stat boosts:
- Cuirass: Increases Health by 10,000, Carrying Capacity increased by 10,000, and Stamina increased by 10,000 points.
- Boots: Increases Health by 10,000, Carrying Capacity increased by 10,000, and Stamina increased by 10,000 points.
- Gauntlets: Increases Health by 10,000, Carrying Capacity increased by 10,000, and Stamina increased by 10,000 points.
- Helmet: Increases Health by 10,000, Carrying Capacity increased by 10,000, and Stamina increased by 10,000 points.

Location
The barrel is located on the path from Riverwood to Whiterun, just before the scripted giant encounter.
How to Find It:
- Leave Riverwood heading toward Whiterun as part of the natural gameplay
- Follow the path over the mountain
- As you descend toward Whiterun’s plains
- BEFORE you arrive at the giant/Companions fight scene
- The barrel is placed directly in front of it, inside the terrain.
You’ll find it before you see the giant – it’s positioned so you can grab the gear and then watch the Companions fight in style.
Installation
Mod Manager (Recommended):
- Download and install through Vortex or MO2
- Enable BarrelOfCheats.esp
- Ready to play
Manual Installation:
- Extract to Skyrim Special EditionData
- Enable BarrelOfCheats.esp in launcher
- Launch game
