Learn to Fly is a beloved game, where you play as a penguin to fly as far as possible, earning money towards upgrades and flying further next run, and completing achievements, which give a lump sum of money that can be helpful throughout the playthrough.

Do note that in-game, it is referred to as ‘feets’, as we also refer to it as feets similarly.

What is the Fly 6000 Feets Reward?

This answers the question: What is the Reach 6000 Feets reward?

The reward for reaching 6000 feet and crashing into the water is a special cutscene where the penguin feels proud of himself… until he hits an ice wall. Injuring himself, this sets the stage for Learn to Fly 2.

Ending Cutscene

Transcript for the cutscene:

“I did it…

I can fly…

And that is why nobody believes that penguins can…

Learn to Fly.”

Reaching the last level, the 50′ Ramp is required before this achievement can be unlocked; it is much easier with all upgrades unlocked. This guide assumes the last glider and boost as the metrics are much easier to read on the ui of those.

The Strategy is to fly at 4% resistance, tapping boost to maintain a 140mph speed, gradually allowing this to decline to 130, then the last of the boost to end up at 120mph.

Once all Boost is gone, maintain a resistance of 0% and the speed of the penguin should reach 83-85mph. You’ll hit the water and regain some altitude, balance out to get 0% resistance again by pressing → (the Right direction Key).

Other Methods

1

Another method said to work is to ensure your speed stays below 200, as at this speed, your air resistance increases significantly, wasting fuel and likely reducing the potential distance covered, meaning the penguin is less likely to reach 6000 feet.

2

The third method the community swears by is to go immediately to 3% on takeoff, don’t try to build height. Keep boosting to maintain a speed of 150-190, and once the boost runs out, do nothing. This has gotten a user to 7000 feet.

Thomas has been writing game guides for over a year, covering whatever he's currently sunk into. He doesn't write about anything he hasn't actually played, which usually isn't a problem since he plays too much of everything anyway. Rocket League ate enough of his life to get him to Grand Champion, and he's got several max-level, fully geared characters sitting in World of Warcraft from various binges over the years. Recent obsessions include ARC Raiders, Battlefield, For Honor, and Rainbow Six Siege, with plenty of others in rotation. He's also worked behind the scenes for a well-known gaming creator on video production and editorial pieces, so the guides here are shaped as much by that side of the industry as by the hours logged in-game. Every tip, build, and location in his guides comes from his own playthroughs. If he hasn't tested it, it doesn't get published.
