Forza Horizon 6 Money Glitch – How to get Money and Skill Points Fast (AFK)

Credits and XP power almost everything in Forza Horizon 6, from new cars and upgrades to Super Wheelspins and Festival expansion. The fastest ways to earn both involve AFK Event Lab loops that run while you sleep, alongside short active sessions that convert Skill Points into Super Wheelspins. This guide covers three proven methods, the AFK setup tricks that keep them running, and the optimization steps that multiply rewards in the long term.

Each method is built around the Event Lab system or a Time Attack track, letting you hold acceleration while the assists handle the rest. The methods are listed first, with setup steps you can follow immediately. The explanations of why everything works and what to do with the rewards come afterward.

Quick Summary

The Beginner method earns 150,000 Credits per Hour. The 1-minute skill point method nets 10 Skill Points every run. The beginner method gives 1140 XP and 2356 Credits per minute used.

1M+/hr CR Money Farm

If you have a R Grade car, there is another option that could arguably be much better. The Cheapest R Car you can buy is 65k and allows entry into this map – though other R Cars are most likely more suitable.

Time per Lap Credits per Lap Experience per lap
1M per Hour Farm 6 Minutes 30 Seconds Wheelspins so variable, Personally I got 250k + for first 2 Laps due to Skills Multiple Levels (Need to finish the Race)
R Grade 1 m+ Money Farm, in Event Labs, is a good method

This map uses Speed as a skill combo, granting roughly 10 Skill points every 5 minutes and awarding the racer ample money. To further leverage this to our advantage, choose a car with a Car Mastery Build that includes either Spinball Wizard (Obtain a super Wheel spin) or CR awards. This 917 LH Porsche has both, the Subaru 22B STI has the spinball wizard, and costs 86k.

Spinball Wizard – requires roughly 30 Skill points, which can be obtained in 10 minutes or less through this method

This specific car awards 250k CR upon picking up the CR Skill point (High Roller), as well as the Spinball Wizard, which rewards a super wheel spin.

A Super Wheelspin awards 3 rewards, usually worth well over 100k. For example, this would give me 395k if I sold the Lamborghini Huracan Tenica 2022 as well.

Personally, I wouldn’t leave the PC running for hours with no supervision. This map allows you to use just the spinball wizard method, though for better gains, you can complete the race and obtain however much additional CR on top for completing the race.

around 40 minutes gave me 40 points, which is equal to 250k CR, and/or Spinball Wizard Perks on the Subaru 22B STI

Generally, I like collecting Cars, so I will happily lose profit on the condition that I use the CR and skills earned to obtain my next Car and repeat the cycle.

Sometimes you’ll get 10 skill points in a single lap, sometimes points will stop accumulating – in this instance you’ll have to let go of the acceleration very briefly.

No R Grade Car – Event Labs Alternative

Better for Skill points

You can substitute this for Event Labs Maps, which have much longer runs and are intended for AFK Farming. Those tend to take multiple hours, reward pretty similarly for the time invested, and require no crashes during that time.

Skill points do build up as you’ll get drafting points, making it more likely to hit the 10 skill points per game limit.

The Events Lab can be found in Creative Hub and contains player-made tracks

Many Map makers have the same mentality of making AFK Farms efficient and worthwhile running, and so there is quite a lot of maps on the Event Labs for AFK Farming, with seemingly normal names like “Ultra Fast Colossus Event”, which is a long race, with peaceful bots that won’t run you off the road, and you’ll often be behind them at all times, earning skillpoints for drafting.

Ultra Fast Colossus!! Event is an AFK Farm – You can always try multiple and see which gives you the best results, though some races can take upwards of 3+ Hours

Beginner SONY Time Attack Method

If you have not unlocked Event Lab maps or the recommended cars yet, the SONY Time Attack track is the easiest entry point. The track is short, the AI is non-existent, and the auto-steering assist handles every corner. This is the recommended starter method for new accounts and free-to-play setups.

Setup Steps

1

Pick Any Fast Car

The Toyota Tacoma Forza Edition (VIP/Premium bonus) is best. The Honda NSX Type S is free after the second wristband story mission, roughly one hour in. Cheap Lamborghinis in the Autoshow at around 200,000 Credits also work.

Personally, I used the Subaru Impreza 22B for 86,000 to start with
2

Fast Travel to SONY Time Attack

Open the world map and look for the SONY Time Attack icon in the northern region of Japan. Fast travel directly to the start of the track.

Head over to a Time Attack. Find a stopwatch icon on the world map
3

Configure Assists

Open Game Settings and set Braking to Assisted, Steering to Auto Steering, and Shifting to Automatic. These three settings are mandatory for the car to lap on its own.

The Steering and Braking are important, the other settings help CR Gain
4

Hold Acceleration

Press the throttle trigger or hold W on keyboard. Once you cross the start line, the auto-steering assist will lap the track continuously without further input.

Hold W / Right Trigger / Pedal down and watch your car do lap after lap!

Each lap in a Subaru Impreza 22B around the Hokubu Time Attack Event takes around seconds and pays out and . Slower cars still work, but the laps take longer, and the payout per minute drops accordingly. A standard Wheelspin drops every three driver levels gained.

If it fails to be AFK the first time, restart with the settings active and try again.

Time per Lap Credits per Lap Experience per lap
Time Attack Hobuku 1 Minute 7 Seconds 2,356 CR 1,140 XP

Meaning a full hour would reward 62k XP and 129k Credits. Which isn’t that impressive, but it is fully AFK and foolproof. It cannot fail if you choose the right car – a car that is fast, but also doesn’t veer off the driving line at all. A good target for this Timed attack would be at the 1 Minute Mark.

Time per Lap Credits per Hour Experience per Hour
Time Attack Hobuku 1 Minute 141,360 CR 410,400 XP

Pick the highest speed car you have that has moderately good handling, or aim to find a time attack where there aren’t any sharp corners.

The trial with the #23 Yokohama Alpha (Cheapest R Grade Car) showed that, while most runs were marginally quicker, the occasional run ended in crashes, losing any gains.

Turning Skill Points into Super Wheelspins

The Subaru Impreza 22B STI has a Car Mastery perk that awards a Super Wheelspin for only 30 Skill Points. The car itself costs 86,000 Credits, and a single Super Wheelspin frequently returns more than that in Credits and rare car drops. Repeating this loop converts farmed Skill Points into a constant stream of Super Wheelspins.

The Repeatable Loop

1

Open the Car Collection Journal

From the Horizon Festival, choose Campaign, then Journal, then Discover Japan, then Car Collection. Buying from here skips the slow Autoshow cutscene.

2

Purchase the Subaru Impreza 22B STI

86,000 Credits per copy. Buying from the Journal tags the car with a yellow new sticker so you do not accidentally re-enter an already-claimed copy.

3

Claim the Super Wheelspin

Go to the car's Mastery menu and spend 30 Skill Points on the Super Wheelspin perk. Spin the rewards.

You can do this after 3x runs of an “AFK farm”, as you can only earn 10 per race, and 30 is needed for this loop (Hint: go right, not up, as this costs 2 less, our mistake!)
4

Sell or Gift the Car

Either gift drop the Subaru in convoy or sell it from the garage. Then return to the Journal and buy another copy to repeat the cycle.

Check Forza Edition Cars First

Before grinding Subarus, scan your existing Forza Edition cars and high-value vehicles for unclaimed Super Wheelspins and Credit packs in their Car Mastery menus. These are often forgotten and represent free rewards already attached to cars you own.

What Credits and XP Are Actually For

Understanding what each currency unlocks makes it easier to prioritize which method to run. Credits drive purchases and the Auction House. XP drives driver levels, which feed back into Credits and cars through Wheelspins.

Credits

Credits are the main in-game currency in Forza Horizon 6. They buy cars from the Autoshow, fund every performance upgrade and visual customization part, and unlock player Houses that grant perks like extra Wheelspins and fast-travel discounts.

A large Credit stockpile is essential for the Auction House, where rare and no-longer-available cars are traded between players. Credits also purchase clothing at the Festival, which has a hidden long-term effect on Wheelspin quality.

XP and Driver Levels

XP raises your driver level, which awards a Wheelspin or Super Wheelspin at every checkpoint. Wheelspin loot pools include large Credit payouts, rare cars, clothing, and cosmetics, so XP indirectly funnels into Credits.

Driver levels also unlock new Festival sites across Japan, opening up race chapters, story missions, and regional events. Higher levels expand the available content as much as they expand the reward pool.

Pro Tips to Maximize Rewards

Buy Clothing to Clean the Wheelspin Pool

Clothing items in Wheelspins can only be earned once per item. Every clothing piece you buy at the Horizon Festival is permanently removed from future Wheelspin loot pools. Over time, this replaces low-value clothing rolls with Credits and rare cars, dramatically increasing the average Wheelspin payout.

Sort Garage by Value

High-value vehicles in your garage often have unclaimed Super Wheelspins, Credit packs, or Skill Point bonuses sitting in their Car Mastery menus. Sort the garage by value and walk down the list, checking each car for free rewards before grinding new Subarus.

Run a Convoy Whenever Possible

The convoy multiplier increases Credit payouts to 150,000-500,000 Credits per lap during the overnight method. Running with even one friend significantly boosts the total session payout. If no friends are available, comment sections on Forza Horizon 6 glitch videos are full of convoy partners looking to share runs.

Use the Car Collection Journal, Not the Autoshow

Buying cars from the Car Collection Journal under Discover Japan skips the long Autoshow cutscene and paint customization screen. It also tags purchased cars with a yellow new sticker, which prevents wasted visits to cars you have already claimed Mastery rewards from. Buying Subarus in bulk for the Super Wheelspin loop saves a substantial amount of time.

Rocket League ate enough of his life to get him to Grand Champion, and he's got several max-level, fully geared characters sitting in World of Warcraft from various binges over the years. Recent obsessions include ARC Raiders, Battlefield, For Honor, and Rainbow Six Siege, with plenty of others in rotation. He's also worked behind the scenes for a well-known gaming creator on video production and editorial pieces, so the guides here are shaped as much by that side of the industry as by the hours logged in-game.
