Season 1 Updated: Every weapon in Battlefield 6 is ranked from Top Tier to Bottom Tier. Filter by weapon class, find your playstyle, and dominate the battlefield with the best loadouts in the game. We also quickly cover how to unlock the weapons at the end.
Battlefield 6 Weapons Tier List

Three-shot kill up to 20m. Four-shot at all ranges. Laser beam accuracy in single fire. The undisputed best AR in the game.

Viable in every situation. Disgusting fire rate compensates for bloom. Works on every class. The carbine benchmark.

Four-shot kill at every range. Fast fire rate with manageable bloom up to 50m. Best carbine in the game, no question.

Fastest full-auto TTK at 150ms. 75ms with hollow points. Borderline broken. Beats everything in close to medium range.

Laser beam accuracy. Plays like an AR but with LMG benefits. Works on every class except Recon. Probably needs a nerf.

Unlimited four-shot kill range. Beam people at 70m+ with thermal. So strong it got nerfed specifically in Battle Royale.

Two-shot body at all ranges. One-tap headshot with hollow points up to 30m. 10x scope with no glint. Basically a sniper.

Highest muzzle velocity in the game. Fast fire rate. Best mobility. Hyper-aggressive playstyle viable. The sniper to rule them all.

Most consistent shotgun. Two-shot kills at 40m+ without slugs. With slugs, it becomes a pocket sniper. Versatile and reliable.

Same damage model as M/60 with 720 RPM. Three-shot to 20m. Extreme recoil but S-tier if mastered. High skill ceiling.

Three-shot body to 10m. Sub-200ms TTK up close. Accuracy nerfed at range but still a strong all-rounder.

900 RPM melts in close range. High muzzle velocity and accuracy. Use burst mode at range for zero bloom.

720 RPM with three-shot potential. Beats most SMGs in TTK. Falls off hard at range but dominates close to medium.

Same damage as M4A1 with better accuracy. Left-handed recoil takes adjustment. Strong and underrated.

Same damage as NVO-228E but more accurate with less bloom. Small mag is the only drawback. Does what the NVO-228E can’t.

1000 RPM feels like a three-shot TTK. Competes with SCW-10 up close. Low ammo capacity is the tradeoff.

Best all-rounder SMG. Great hipfire, no bloom, max mobility. Good at close, medium, and even far range.

Zero spread and recoil. Insane accuracy at range for an SMG. Not the best TTK but incredibly consistent.

Same damage as M/60 with faster fire rate. Better handling and reload. Best traditional LMG in the game.

Three-shot to 20m like the AK4D. 100 round belt. Slow and heavy but devastating damage model.

Three-shot base, two-shot with hollow points. Fast fire rate, easy to control. What a DMR should actually be.

Sweet spot 80-120m. High muzzle velocity. Slightly slower than Mini Scout but still excellent for aggressive sniping.

Semi-auto with one-shot potential at close range. 200 RPM allows quick follow-up. Less consistent than M87A1 but more forgiving.

Does everything good, not great. Moderate fire rate, decent accuracy. Five-shot kill most of the time. Solid all-rounder.

Like the B46A4 but slightly less effective. Good for casual play when you want something that just works.

Nice TTK but weird spread issues since season 1. Similar guns just do it better now. Still usable.

Fast firing and accurate. Nothing special but nothing wrong. Just exists. The gun that’s happy where it is.

Like UMG-40 but actually works. Better fire rate, no recoil. Can run 60-round mag. Effective at all ranges with thermal.

KORD with 50-round mag as an SMG. Hipfire focused, no grip option. Seven-shot kill but 900 RPM makes up for it.

Laser beam with bad DPS. Movement demon playstyle with synthetic ammo. Fun but not winning many gunfights.

M433 turned into an LMG. Great at medium to far range. Heavy with janky reload. Spread nerfed in season 1.

Good damage model but awkward falloff. Muzzle velocity makes long range painful. Build it like an AR.

The dictionary definition of an LMG. Does everything right but not great. Safe, balanced, and well-rounded.

Needs hollow points to shine. Two-shot headshot potential at range. High C tier without attachments, high B with them.

Closer sweet spot than M2010. No flash hider until level 30 makes you a painted target. Patience required.

Can’t one-shot but fires as fast as you want. Two-shot kill with better fire rate than pump. Fun middle ground.

High muzzle velocity and decent spread. Worse than L85A3 up close. Use it for range only. The Fortnite gold scar is better.

Seven to nine shots to kill. No recoil, no bloom at 75m. Great if damage wasn’t terrible. Warzone gun in Battlefield.

Three-shot up to 10m then falls off hard. Better than UMG-40 but that’s not saying much. Good run-and-gun option.

Shoots straight but does no damage. The SOR of SMGs. Win gunfights when enemies aren’t looking. Needs fire rate buff.

Shoots super straight but slowest firing LMG. Good at far range only. M/60 does everything better with same fire rate.

50 BMG with sweet spot at 100-150m. Lowest muzzle velocity. Gets flash hider early which saves it from F tier.

Everyone calls it garbage but it’s really not. Double barrel fun if you hit your shots. Just don’t miss or you’re dead.

Four-shot kill even up close with 10-round mag. Not a real DMR. Build it like an AR with a red dot or don’t use it at all.
How to Unlock Weapons
In Battlefield 6, all weapons beyond the starting options require players to reach a specific level or to complete Gun Challenges, which can be accessed after reaching Player Rank 15. These challenges involve completing sets of 2-3 tasks, such as “Get 100 kills with Assault Rifles” or “kill 30 players while aiming down sights with the SGX.” If a challenge is 2 or 3, you must complete the ones before it.

Personally, I didn’t take more than a few hours to complete all 15 Challenges, and I assume most players will take a similar amount of time.
