Finding Lemons in ARC Raiders can feel like a frustrating treasure hunt. You need them for Scrappy upgrades and crafting Fruit Mix, but these yellow fruits only spawn in specific locations across certain maps. If you are also hunting for Apricots, check out our Apricot Locations Guide, which covers similar routes.

The good news is that Lemon farming does not require a long grind. Heading to the right locations can yield 4 or more Lemons in under 5 minutes. This guide covers every Lemon spawn location, the safest farming routes, and tips to maximize your haul.

Where are Lemons Found

Lemons can be found in two states: fallen and yet to fall.

Kicking A Tree Down Interacting With Lemon Tree To Make Lemons Drop
On Lemon Trees, interacting with them make lemons drop on the floor

Lemons primarily spawn on small fruit trees scattered throughout nature-heavy areas of each map. These Lemon Trees are identifiable by their lighter green color and rounded, shrublike shape compared to the taller, paler Olive trees nearby. You can interact with the trunk of a Lemon Tree to kick it, causing additional Lemons to fall from the branches.

Lemons also spawn loose on the ground beneath and around Lemon Trees. The bright yellow fruit is sometimes easy to spot against the grass and dirt. Always check the base of each tree before kicking it, as 1 to 4 Lemons can spawn on the ground without any interaction required.

Blue Gate (Best Map)

Blue Gate is the best map for Lemon farming with two excellent locations. The primary spot is the Olive Grove, located in the northwest corner between the Olive Garden and Ruined Homestead POIs. This area is overflowing with fruit trees, including Lemons, Apricots, and Olives. You can often find fruit sitting on the ground in addition to what falls from the trees.

The second you load into Blue Gate, open your map and ping the dense patch of trees in the top left quadrant of the Olive Grove. Lemon trees look different from the others. They are usually a lighter green and have a more rounded, shrublike shape than the tall, pale Olive trees.

However, the Olive Grove is extremely popular. Expect heavy competition from other players farming the same trees. The area is almost always crowded during peak hours, and the wide open terrain makes you an easy target for both ARC patrols and other Raiders.

A safer alternative is the Northern Village at the top of the map near the Ruined Homestead. This location has a large number of fruit trees and doubles as a player spawn point. If you spawn here, you can pick Lemons immediately and head straight to extraction. The chances of running into other Raiders are significantly lower compared to the Olive Grove.

Buried City

Morirano Park is located in the center of Buried City and serves as the main Lemon spawn on this map. The park features a cluster of fruit trees, making it an efficient one-stop farming location. You can also find Lemon and Apricot trees in the smaller garden area between the Library and the Town Hall.

However, its central location makes it extremely dangerous. ARC patrols are heavier here, often including Wasps, Hornets, Rocketeers, Bastions, and even Bombardiers. A massive Bastion unit often patrols the park center. Player traffic is also consistently high since every Raider on the map has the same destination in mind.

The tall buildings surrounding the park can be both a blessing and a curse. They offer some cover from ARC, but they also make perfect sniper nests for other players watching the park. Only visit Morirano Park if you are geared up and ready for a fight. The good news is there is a Metro station extract right next to the park for a quick escape.

For a less stressful time in Buried City, check the Grandioso Apartments. Right in front of them is a handful of Lemon trees ripe for the taking. This part of the map is much less contested and offers a safer alternative to the Morirano Park area.

Spaceport

Spaceport is not a dedicated Lemon farming map. The industrial environment means fruit trees are rare, but they do exist in small pockets. Think of Spaceport as a map of opportunity rather than a farming destination.

The most reliable spot is the car park behind the Arrival Building. This location is probably the best on the map due to its position. Raiders rarely come by this way, making it your safest bet for quickly grabbing some Lemons before extracting.

Alternatively, the Staff Car Park area in front of the Electrical Substation down south offers a variety of both Lemon and Apricot trees. However, it is located right near the loot hot spot where a large majority of Raiders will be going. Do not make a special trip to Spaceport for Lemons. Instead, check these spots if a mission sends you there or you are passing through on your way to extraction.

Riven Tides

There isn’t much community data for Lemon on Riven Tides yet. There are 34 reported plant patches with Lemon on Riven Tides, and the Dried Riverbed area is the main spot. This area is on the quieter side, which makes for a calmer run.

Pendola Pass

Pendola Pass only arrived with the latest update, so reports are still thin. The game’s loot data fills the gap. There are 3 reported plant patches with Lemon on Pendola Pass, and the Frozen River area is the main spot. This area is on the quieter side, which makes for a calmer run.

How to Find Lemons

Lemons are found near fruit trees, on the ground, or by interacting with Lemon Trees to shake more fruit loose. Look for small trees with a lighter green color and a rounded, shrublike shape. The bright yellow fruit is easy to spot in the grass once you know what to look for.

Lemons Found Near Trees

Each Lemon Tree can spawn 1 to 4 Lemons on the ground below it. Spawns are not guaranteed, but you can interact with the tree trunk to shake off an additional 1 to 3 Lemons. If the interaction prompt does not appear immediately, move around the tree until it shows up.

Note that Lemons typically share the same spawns as Apricots. They are usually found in proximity to one another, so farming one fruit often means finding the other as well.

Also Found Here

Plants grow in mixed patches, so you’ll rarely pick Lemon on its own.

The same patches as Lemon, mostly on Riven Tides and Dam Battlegrounds, often have:

  • Mushroom (12 needed for Scrappy Level 5)
  • Olives (6 needed for Scrappy Level 4)
  • Prickly Pear (6 needed for Scrappy Level 4)
  • Apricot (3 needed for Scrappy Level 3, 12 for Scrappy Level 5)
  • Fossilized Lightning (sells for 4,000 Raider Coins)
⚔️

Why You Need Lemons

Lemons are essential for upgrading Scrappy, your robotic companion. To upgrade Scrappy from Level II to Level III, you need 3 Lemons and 3 Apricots. Higher tiers require even more fruit, making Lemons a high-priority resource for any Raider focused on progression.

What needs Lemon in Arc Raiders: 3 for Scrappy Level 3, crafting Fruit Mix
What needs Lemon – 3 for Scrappy Level 3, plus Fruit Mix
Scrappy The Rooster

Lemons are also used to craft Fruit Mix. The recipe requires 1 Lemon, 1 Apricot, and 1 Prickly Pear to create 1 Fruit Mix in your inventory. Fruit Mix provides a larger stamina boost than consuming individual fruits.

Training Scrappy Requires Apricots

The game places Lemon trees in locations designed to create conflict. Popular farming spots attract both ARC machines and other players, turning simple gathering trips into potential firefights. Knowing the safest and most efficient locations is key to consistent farming.

⚔️

Lemon Stats and Overview

Lemons are an Uncommon Nature item that can be consumed for a small burst of energy. When eaten, a Lemon restores 20 Stamina with a 1 second use time. They weigh 0.2 kg each and stack up to 10 in your inventory.

Lemon Stats And Description
Can be consumed for a small amount of stamina, though given its rarity and use, we recommened stockpiling those for upgrades – once they’re all done, they have higher value being sold than being used except for extreme emergencies

The sell price for Lemons is 640 Coins, making them a decent source of income if you have extras. However, most Raiders prioritize keeping them for Scrappy upgrades and crafting rather than selling.

Lemons can also be recycled at your Hideout. Salvaging a Lemon yields 2 Assorted Seeds, while recycling produces 3 Assorted Seeds. This makes them useful even after you have completed all Scrappy upgrades.

⚔️

Lemons and Apricots Share the Same Locations ish

Pro Tip

If you are also looking for Apricots, you are in luck. Lemons and Apricots spawn in roughly the same areas across all maps. The Olive Grove on Blue Gate and Red Lakes on Damn Battlegrounds are excellent for farming both fruits in a single run.

Interestingly, Apricots sometimes appear to drop from Lemon trees. This may be a visual bug where the tree models are not perfectly matched to their fruit drops. Either way, interact with every fruit tree you find regardless of what it looks like to maximize your haul.

⚔️

Tips for Farming Lemons

Always Kick the Trees

This is the most important tip for Lemon farming. When you approach a tree, do not just grab the fruit on the ground. Walk up to the trunk and interact with it. Your character will kick the tree, causing additional fruit to fall. This single action can double or triple your yield from each tree.

Player Interacting With Lemon Tree By Kicking It And Apricots Should Fall From It

Each one only drops a limited amount of fruit per raid. Your best bet is to move from tree to tree, kicking each one before moving on.

Use a Safe Pocket Loadout

Free loadouts do not include a Safe Pocket, meaning you lose everything if you die. Custom loadouts with a Safe Pocket secure part of your inventory even if the raid goes badly. Store your Lemons in your Safe Pocket immediately after picking them up.

Good To Place Lemons In Safe Pockets

Think of the Safe Pocket as insurance for risky farming runs into contested areas like Morirano Park or the Olive Grove. Even if another Raider takes you down, you will still extract with your hard-earned Lemons.

Watch for Lush Blooms Event / Cold Snap Event

Before loading into a raid, check the active World Modifiers. If the Lush Blooms event is active, prioritize farming immediately. This event dramatically increases the spawn rate of all natural loot including Lemons. Trees will be practically overflowing with fruit during this time.

Lush BloomsThe weather has been unusually agreeable lately, and vital plants and fruits have been thriving. Get out there and gather your food before it is all gone.
  • Increased amount of Nature loot
Cold SnapA cold front has swept in with snowfall, and a considerable drop in temperature. The air might feel crisp and brisk at first, but beware of frostbite. Candleberry bushes are bearing valuable fruit - they are now ripe for the picking.
  • Damaging cold
Cold Snap Event Means Lemon Trees Are More Common
In the winter, the Cold snap event is much more common, and increases chances of lemon tree spawns

Keep an eye out for Wicker Baskets during Lush Blooms as they often contain extra fruit. These baskets spawn much more frequently when the event is active, sometimes appearing near Raiders Camps. One Lush Blooms event is often enough to gather all the Lemons, Apricots, and Mushrooms you need for every Scrappy upgrade.

Accept Spawn Randomness

Lemon spawns have some randomness built in. Sometimes Red Lakes will be barren while Morirano Park is a goldmine. Do not get frustrated by poor runs. Extract with whatever you find, bank it, and queue again. Consistent farming over multiple runs is more effective than hoping for one perfect raid.

⚔️

Frequently Asked Questions

The Olive Grove on Blue Gate offers the highest yield but is heavily contested. For safer farming, Red Lakes on Dam Battlegrounds provides consistent spawns with significantly lower player traffic.

Yes, Lemons and Apricots share the same spawn locations across all maps. You will often find both fruits growing near each other, making it efficient to farm them together in a single run.

Walk up to the trunk of a Lemon tree and interact with it. Your character will kick the tree, causing 1 to 3 additional Lemons to fall. Always kick every tree you find to maximize your yield.

Lemons are primarily used to upgrade Scrappy, your robotic companion. The Level III upgrade requires 3 Lemons and 3 Apricots. They can also be used to craft Fruit Mix or consumed directly for 20 Stamina.

Yes, but Spaceport has very limited Lemon spawns. Check the car park behind the Arrival Building or the Staff Car Park near the Electrical Substation. Only farm here if you are already on the map for other reasons.

Use a custom loadout with a Safe Pocket and store your Lemons there immediately after picking them up. Items in your Safe Pocket are protected even if you fail to extract.

Lush Blooms is a World Modifier that dramatically increases natural loot spawns including Lemons. Check for this event before loading into a raid and prioritize fruit farming when it is active.

Each Lemon weighs 0.2 kg and stacks up to 10 in your inventory. They are lightweight enough to carry in bulk without significantly impacting your loadout.
