Deflated Football
Weight: 0.8 kg | Stack Size: 3 | Sell Value: 1,000 Raider Coins | Found in: Residential Areas
This guide covers the best maps, container types, and specific locations to farm Deflated Footballs efficiently. Whether you lost your quest item to another Raider or simply want to stock up, knowing exactly where to look will save you valuable time.
Where Are Deflated Footballs Found

Players will primarily be seeking Deflated Footballs for the Quest “The League,” where they must deliver one to Apollo. There is a guaranteed spot for deflated footballs, exclusive to this quest, in Dam Battlegrounds by the Water Tower.

In the instance where you used the guaranteed spot to pick up the Deflated Football, then lost it, you’ll need to look elsewhere to obtain another Deflated Football which we cover below:
Deflated Footballs spawn exclusively in Residential areas, marked on the map with the person silhouette icon. These zones contain apartment buildings, houses, and civilian living spaces where everyday items like sports equipment naturally appear. Look for the Residential icon when planning your farming route.

Best Deflated Football Locations
While Deflated Footballs can spawn across multiple maps in Residential areas, certain locations stand out for reliable farming. Below are the best spots organized by map, starting with the most efficient options for completing The League quest.

Storm Hut (approx., opens in a Flash Freeze)Dam Battlegrounds
Dam Battlegrounds is the primary farming location for Deflated Footballs, recommended by virtually every community guide. The Water Towers area in the eastern portion of the map contains a guaranteed quest-specific spawn. Near the soccer goalpost by the water towers, you will find a small cache on the ground that spawns a Deflated Football specifically for The League quest.

Extraction pointBeyond the quest cache, the Ruby Apartments (also called Ruby Residence) offers excellent random spawns. This apartment complex contains multiple Breachable Containers and Lockers throughout its floors. Players consistently report finding Deflated Footballs here even when arriving late to a raid after other players have looted the area.
The Pattern House nearby provides another reliable option. Search all residential containers thoroughly, including shelves, floor spawns, and any Breachable Containers you encounter. The proximity of these three locations makes Dam Battlegrounds ideal for efficient farming runs.
The quest-specific cache near the Water Towers goalpost spawns for each squad member. If you are playing with teammates, everyone can loot their own Deflated Football from this location without competing for the item.
Buried City
Buried City serves as the secondary farming location, contributing approximately 40% of community-reported Deflated Football finds. The central area of the map near Morirano Station contains dense residential zones with multiple spawn points. According to community location data, spawn clusters appear in the central and south-central portions of the map.

Extraction pointThe residential apartment buildings surrounding Morirano Station offer numerous Breachable Containers and Lockers. Search each building methodically from top to bottom for the best results. The Morirano Park area also contains small cabin structures worth checking, as these buildings have Residential loot tables.
Note that The League quest also sends you to Buried City to photograph football magazines in a kiosk near Morirano Station. You can combine your quest objectives with Deflated Football farming by thoroughly searching the area while completing both tasks in a single raid.
Blue Gate
Blue Gate shows potential spawn locations in two distinct clusters according to community mapping data. The northern area of the map contains a cluster of possible spawns, while a second cluster appears in the southern portion. While community data currently shows 0% of reported finds on Blue Gate, the spawn markers suggest this map may be underreported, as well as my own experience of obtaining one there, so it is worthwhile checking out.

Riven Tides
Riven Tides has very few reported Deflated Football finds. The Residential loot on Riven Tides sits in Hotel Panorama Azzurro and Azzurro Beach. Hotel Panorama Azzurro is a high-threat area, so expect ARC and other players. Not worth a dedicated run; pick them up if you’re there for something else.

Open those spots and you’ll usually walk out with more than just Deflated Football. These are the ones worth keeping.
The bags and Breachable Containers that hold Deflated Football, most often on Blue Gate and Buried City, also roll:
- Very Comfortable Pillow (3 needed for Scrappy Level 5)
- Toaster (3 needed for Refiner Level 2)
- Cat Bed (1 needed for Scrappy Level 4)
- Power Cable (3 needed for Gear Bench Level 2)
Deflated Football also turns up in bags and solar panels on Blue Gate and Riven Tides, alongside:
- Durable Cloth (30 needed for Expedition 5 phase 2, 5 for Medical Lab Level 2)
- Speaker Component (15 needed for Expedition 5 phase 3)
- Ice Cream Scooper (sells for 640 Raider Coins)
- Canister (sells for 300 Raider Coins)
What Is A Deflated Football
Deflated Footballs are classified as Uncommon recyclable items in Arc Raiders. Each Deflated Football weighs 0.8 kg, stacks up to 3, and sells for 1,000 Raider Coins at vendors. The in-game description reads: “Just by looking at this, you too start to feel slightly deflated.”

When recycled at the Raider Den, a Deflated Football yields 9 Fabric (worth 450 coins) and 9 Rubber Parts (worth 450 coins) for a total recycle value of 900 Raider Coins. This makes recycling 100 coins less valuable than selling directly. Salvaging topside produces only Rubber Parts, making it the least efficient option.
The item falls under the Residential area type, meaning it spawns alongside other household and civilian items. Its Uncommon rarity means spawns are not guaranteed in every container, requiring thorough searching of Residential zones to find one reliably.
Why You Need Deflated Footballs
Deflated Footballs serve one primary purpose in Arc Raiders: completing The League quest. Beyond this quest, the item has no crafting uses or workbench requirements, making it purely a quest objective or vendor fodder.
The League Quest
The League quest was introduced in the January 2026 Headwinds update and is obtained from Apollo. The quest requires you to deliver 1 Deflated Football and 1 Bicycle Pump to Apollo, along with photographing specific locations on Dam Battlegrounds and Buried City.

Quest rewards include grenades and firecrackers, making it worthwhile to complete. The quest-specific cache near the Water Towers on Dam Battlegrounds provides a guaranteed Deflated Football spawn, so most players can complete this requirement in a single focused raid.
The League quest also requires photographing the goalpost at Water Towers on Dam Battlegrounds and football magazines in a kiosk on Buried City. Plan your raids to complete multiple objectives simultaneously.
Recycle vs Sell
Deflated Footballs sell for 1,000 Raider Coins directly. Recycling yields materials worth only 900 coins (9 Fabric at 50 each + 9 Rubber Parts at 50 each). Selling provides 100 more coins per item, making it the better choice for pure profit.
Only recycle Deflated Footballs if you specifically need Fabric or Rubber Parts for other crafting projects. Otherwise, sell any extras after completing The League quest. Avoid salvaging Deflated Footballs in the field unless your inventory is completely full and you have no other options.
Tips For Farming Deflated Footballs
Deflated Footballs stack to 3 and weigh 0.8 kg each, making them relatively light inventory items. A single stack takes up minimal space, so you can easily grab extras while completing The League quest without sacrificing room for higher-value loot.
Run with a Free Loadout when farming specifically for quest items. If you do not spawn near your target location (Water Towers or Ruby Apartments on Dam Battlegrounds), simply surrender and requeue until you get a favorable spawn. This maximizes your chances of reaching the loot first before other Raiders clear the area.
Always use your Safe Pocket for quest items like Deflated Footballs. Equip any Augment in a custom Build rather than running Free Loadout to ensure you have Safe Pocket access. Losing your Deflated Football to another player after finding one is frustrating and easily preventable, especially if you intend to go to the Water Towers.
Since Deflated Footballs are Uncommon items, check every container in Residential areas thoroughly. They can spawn on shelves, floors, inside Breachable Containers, and in Lockers. Do not skip any searchable object when farming, as spawns are not guaranteed in any specific location.
If you get killed and lose your Deflated Football, head to Ruby Apartments or Pattern House on Dam Battlegrounds. Even late in a raid, these locations often still contain at least one Deflated Football that other players overlooked.
Consider combining Deflated Football farming with The League quest objectives. Both maps required for the quest (Dam Battlegrounds and Buried City) have excellent Deflated Football spawn rates. Complete the photo objectives while searching Residential areas to maximize efficiency.
