Welcome to Gamer Guides, a hub built by real gamers who love figuring things out, breaking them down, and sharing what actually works.
We’re not an AI content mill or a faceless brand. We’re players who’ve spent thousands of hours across worlds like World of Warcraft, Rocket League, Skyrim, Roblox, and many more. When we can’t find clear answers online, we research, test, and write them ourselves so you don’t have to dig through Reddit threads for hours. I, Thomas M, am the owner, and my coworker is Phillip, though this is mostly me :) I help him on his site too.
Who We Are
Gamer Guides was founded by players who believe the best guides come from experience and curiosity. Every article begins with a real question, something we wanted to know, could not find online, and decided to figure out through direct gameplay.
We are a two-person team, but we often collaborate with friends who specialize in particular games. For example, our Genshin Impact post was a small collaborative project written by a friend who has played Genshin for years. It reminded us that some of the best gaming knowledge comes from community teamwork.
We also maintain clear boundaries between projects. I do not cover games that overlap with my co-author’s site. This ensures that both platforms remain authentic, focused, and free from internal competition.
Our Mission
Our goal is straightforward: to produce accurate, reliable, and beginner-friendly gaming guides that help players improve faster, survive longer, and enjoy their favorite games more.
Every guide we write is based on tested strategies and firsthand gameplay. There is no filler, no speculation, and no recycled material, only practical insight that works.
Our Story
My name is Thomas, and I am the founder and lead author of Gamer Guides.
Before launching this site, I spent years creating gaming content for other projects and YouTube channels. I currently contribute heavily to a large gaming site that reaches millions of readers every month. That experience taught me what players truly value: clarity, honesty, and strategies that actually help.
Gamer Guides began about seven months ago with one simple goal, to share useful, experience-based information that helps other players. Before this, I created WoW Hardcore Guides, which taught me how important it is to stay passionate and write about games I genuinely enjoy.
Although I handle much of the writing and front-end work here, I often use AI-assisted language tools to help polish phrasing and readability. The content itself is always human, tested, and original, but I value clear presentation for readers and search engines alike.
I do not cover every game, especially those related to my co-author’s work, but I stay focused on the genres and titles that I personally play and understand well.
Our Team

Background in MERN Stack and Cloud Engineering. Writes detailed, gameplay-tested guides with a focus on precision and accessibility, with around a year of experience. - Co-Author, Technical Lead, and Content Strategist
Over seven years of experience in content creation and SEO. Manages most of the backend optimization and performance tuning to ensure the site runs smoothly and loads quickly. Also helps shape long-term content strategy and structure, with 7 years of experience for his own site.
Together, we combine hands-on gaming knowledge with technical and editorial experience. The result is a website that is fast, clean, and written for players who appreciate clarity and depth.
I also contribute to the Co-Authors’ site in a moderate capacity and have done so for a year now, although the site owner has requested that I not directly reference it, hence the anonymity.

Other Work
Beyond writing guides, we develop and maintain mods and gaming tools. Our earlier project, WoW Hardcore Guides, shaped the approach we use today: clarity, accuracy, and passion for gameplay.
Our technical background allows us to work confidently across both creative and technical areas of gaming, including backend frameworks, mod development, and performance testing.
I’ve dabbled in making YouTube Videos, but I find this doesn’t suit me for the time being, though this may change in the future.
